Depends where you go. My import is insured for £450 fully comp. I wouldn't buy a UK spec one unless I came across an absolute concourse one.

    had a quote for mine for about £550 from mceinsurance.com although it is an NA import.

    I was paying £240 (classic) with Houghtons for my NA import. Upgraded to a TT UK car and had to pay an extra £135. Will be searching around when it comes to renewal time (Dec 07).

    Check out heritage ins. I've just insured mine , 95 auto tt lwb, with them for 485 a year. Zero no claims applied, as they class the car as a classic - tel: 08453360660
