Right, I've got a pretty standard 40K miles UK TT in red with leather. It's in great condition but never been touched (original exhaust, shockers, everything really). I've added a poly bush kit, new calipers, discs and a decent piece of ICE. It's been dealer maintained from new and has had 14 oil changes!. Even the gearbox oil is bright pink!.

Now if you wanted to spend 10K on it to make it one of the best, where would you go, what mods would you do and how much would it cost?.

Teaser??.

Good servicing and keep some by for future repairs

off the top of my head :D

New after market front bumper, BLENDED skirts, remove spoiler, remove rear wiper, aftermarket nose pannel, respray.

KYB adjustable shocks, Ebiach springs, adjustable upper and lower arms, Smithy big brake kit, Strut Braces.

Mongoose exhaust (or similar), decat, t28 roller turbos, boost controler, Apexi intake, 555 injectors + chip, dump valves, under drive pully, koyo rad, hard pipe kit and shiney things.

Anything left over I would spend on making the inside looking good.

A standard UK model with 40k miles and in very good condition is rare, if it was me I would buy another Zed to mod, I think the model you have is going to be the first to appreciate in value and by the greatest amount.

£10K? Well, I've spent almost that since I've bought the thing and only had it 18 months! LOL

Erm, most likely keep it looking pretty much as it is. Set of 19" HRE 540Rs, full leather retrim with a custom ICE instal and some rather large Brembos all round. Plus the full suspension rebuild that I'm planning on doing this side of the summer.

Tw4tting BBC I hate the fookers. Does anyone actually watch ANY of the shite they put on. About time you were allowed to be licence free if you don't watch the crap  :xxx:

They'll be making us buy a seperate license to record programs next, then a license to watch video on the net...

i'll have spent 10k on mine the way i'm going and it will still be pretty standard! :x: PERFECT though! :)

finish body work (front bumper), then suspension, brakes, engine build (about 450bhp) then hopefully a bit of ice and a nice interior
