i think the rumour is that recently it was changed so that anything you post in off-topic doesn't count any more. lol, i know of a couple of people whose post counts have dropped from the high thousands to about 23 :rofl:

No, when you post in Off Topic, its a reverse effect so you count goes down, if it gets to 0, then we give you ya £20 back and tell you to fook off, LOL ;) :rofl: :rofl:

Actually, I did clear some rubbish out of old, dead, closed forums and then recomputed the post counts. If the software is working properly, (and I can't guarantee that it is!) then all the post counts should be representative of the actual number of posts you have indexed in the database.
