Just buy one!

Running costs are irrelevant - I can't afford a Z but I've still got one :D

stick with the zed at least you know how much it costs to run, i think the zed gets more looks anyway and looks better. At the end of the day its a bmw, no one takes any notice of them any more, bm's are everywhere unlike the zed. Plus keeping the zed you could then have marmalade on your toast

I've known two people who had 8 series', and they were both proper :xxx:'s, that's enough to out me off.

What kind of power are the V8 and V12?

I'm thinking of one just like that black one in the pic with a supercharger strapped on :D

Those wheels really suit it too.

thats ok mate since ive been on this forum ive never met so many :xxx: mostly all past may i add and they all owned zeds :D ;)

Yeah it doesn't bother me what people think.

I get it all the time - tosser - small dick etc etc.

Anyone who likes their cars get's it all the time until you actually take someone out in a powerful car and they're hooked :D

Even had my sister in law called me a tosser last week for overtaking them when she was doing 40mph in a 60 limit and saying I was showing off LOL

No I was getting home 15 minutes before them on a half hour drive! LOL

Then she complains that her Pug 206 1.1 is slow. I rest my case.

im with you chrisc. ive been very tempted by an 8 series for a while and when you see pics like that black one it makes me want one more. my neighbours had an 840i about 4 years and had no probs what so ever so i guess its like all cars. luck of the draw to an extent. id have one now if i could.

Great answer :D

The BMW will not be anymore expensive to run than the 300zx I reckon.

5.6 litre V12 is fastest; the earlier V12s are just gas guzzlers and do not have the performance you'd think. That's why the 4.4 V8 is probably the best buy.

They do look good, just don't buy that metallic red - it is better suited to the 5-series IMO. Black or silver all the way.

And whoever mentioned the Maseratti 3200 - awesome car; I'd buy one of those

Richard :smw:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Some figures on economy and BHP

Not much worse than the Z
