not easily as it's U shaped and is fitted around the edge of the glass:(

From MJP:

New rear screen lower moulding £71.88

New rear screen corner tabs (2) £20.89

The lower trim is replaceable (i think!) without removing the glass. The upper trim isn't.

what you might be able to replace it with is a universal trim. I just bought a second hand tailgate and that's what it's got, although it's not as neat as the Nissan item, it still looks OK :)

Have to agree, Autoglass were able to show me 3 different styles of seal, all pretty close and about a third of the price, I am fussy (read, "mug")though so spent out on the read deal.

They also tried to replace it with the glass in place, removal was ok, fitting the new one was impossible without taking the glass right out. Also bare in mind the rear glass can smash while they try to remove it, when my respray was done this happened to me.

does anyone could post a picture of the hatch without the rear glass?

i'm thinking about installing perspex instead.

Does anyone also know the weight of the glass? or is it heavy?
