Been offered a very very nice set of 19" alloys and tyres for an unmissable price. Only problem is the wheels are 9.5 x 19" all round.

So basically will 9.5 fit on the front or am i being stupid.

thanks

got to buy them first, or drive a long way to find out they dont fit..

just for the stupid people on here who dont know, not me ofcourse, but what does the offset relate to?? i.e how does offset affect a car.

thanks

That offset will not fit. The minimum offset for the front on a standard Z is 25. Also the wheels being 9.5J mean you looking at 255's to 265's min which even at 35 offset might fowl the inner arches. However at 15 they would destroy the inner arches and may even fowl the actual arch.

I'm no expert, but I reckon that offset is WAY too low, which means wheels that wide will stick out far too much, even past the wing.

these are the wheels, but obviously that wasnt the price. Almost half to be precise

I know that Wheelmania use the same pics and Photoshop different wheels onto them for advertising - so there is no guarantee that those wheels were ever actually fitted to a 350Z.

the guy i know whos selling them bought them for an R33 skyline but he thinks there too big for his car, and wants shot of them because he has bought different wheels.

but if im going to have to spend more to make them fit then they arent much of a bargain

on a completely different note. Has anyone bought or doesn anyone know of someone who has bought the leather seat covers from ebay?? Are they worth £300?

Cheers

well have been told that the fronts are only 8.5 and have a 235/35/19 on so looks like its a go ahead.

they are on the way. not sure how they will look on the car but will post pics as soon as they are on.

Now what is involved in lowering the car as im sure its going to ride high. My previous cars have just been buy a set of coilovers and get them fitted. Is there anything else to do on the zed....??
