Right ive been told my rear inner rack joint ball joints has slight play, what i want to know is im going to get the hicas elminator bar from zcentre will this help eliminate the ball joint problem or will i have to still get this replaced as well. Bare in mind im not mechanically minded.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

You still need the track rods mate,fit 2 new with the eliminator,sorted! :)

they unscrew, more or less......

Use a ball joint breaker hub end remove split pin first .Undo clip around rack gaiter and slide gaiter down the rod undo big 30mm nut while holding the other side with a 30mm spanner .You need the alligment set after .Beware the hub balljoint wear as well .

Got the same problem, ball joints are totally stuck in the hub :(

If you are talking about the rods ends on hub end just use a sissor type balljoint breaker .If you talking about removing the joint from the alloy hub ive been told they come out with a truck heavy duty balljoint spilter .Dont use a fork type spliter as these split the rubber dust boots and can fail mot.
