Yep, I work in Broughton where the various wing builds take place. No real redundancies expected by us...we'd lose more than the quoted numbers in natural attrition over 4 years anyway, we just won't back fill. The industy is very cyclical, the market is huge over the next 20-30 years and we will get close to 50% of it as over rivals over the pond can't make them any faster than we can!

iv always said... from my experience of heavy maintenance on both the major players...

 

you can have an excellent pilot, but a boeing will make him look average...

but have a crap pilot and an airbus will make him look good!
