Ferodo DS if they're avilable for R33. We've been through all this before LOL I think MarkZX may well be able to get them through his mate at demon tweeks ;)

anything would be better than red stuff pads ..im surprised you can get them hot enough to work ........if you can get porterfield they are great , dont know if smithy can still get them or not ,

Red stuff and Portefield are pants.

Ferodo DS 2500 or Mintex 1155 are best for every day fast road use and DS 3000 for track days.

I've just bought a set of 2500's and they ordered the 3000's because I had them last time. They are a brilliant pad, but need a bit of heating up. However because they have them in I'll see if you could have em cheep.

I have red stuff and not that happy with them, loads of dust and they are chewing my discs up big style

Yep agree and Porterfields just as bad IMO. So too are the srandard Brembo pads for the R33's.

Porterfield "fast road" I think they are called is what I have and they do not work well from cold. Nearly rear ended someone recently when I was driving in traffic, there was a noise of pads on disc, but no urgency about hauling up!

No need to mention porterfield etc as there is simply no competition to the FERODO DS RANGE

;)

why not go for a jap pad prodject mu or endless these are great pads i have endless rear and prodjact mu front there the best ive found so far .

Or of course there's also tenalady  ;)

at an average of 75% dearer cost so they friggin should be

that said, am running ds2500's on my 6 pot kit cos they came with it and i can't wait to get shut of the buggers! dust like hell, squeel when just very warm and nowt great performance wise, but then we all know with brakes it's not just pads, it's discs they are mated to, properly working calipers, decent "working" fluid ALL play a big part in how something works, or not...

cheers

Hope he didn't take my tenalady post seriously

Seriously surprised at your experiences Paul, never heard or experienced anything but the best performance from the DS. Least dust of any others by far, to the point where virtually all dust gets blown off the wheels so they don't get dirty lol

where to get and price?

red stuff squeel like a b****rd as well unless ur doing track days all the time.
