I could certainly be forced to have a go on that biggrin.gif

This is the gixer i built. Im toying with the idea of takin the fairing off and doing a flatbar conversion next year if I have the spare cash. Im sick of sports bikes its 'old hat'

Streetfighters are the way forward now wink.gif

I also had a red/white LC like yours but with the nose fairing and belly pan. A totally antisocial hooligans bike....Perfect biggrin.gif

yep that is me. had a race at the weekend and can hardly walk at the moment cos i ache so much!

we get a lot of power rangers(colour coded helmet leathers boots and bike!) down the quey in poole. I always like to go and have a look but after a while it gets a tad boring when you see row after row of R1s, zx9s, 12s, tl 1000s etc. etc. it is always nice to see something a bit differant! for example a harris framed monster with two KX 500 engines joined togeter with the carbs at the front and two evil exhausts poking out of the back.(if any one has riden a normal KX 500 they can appreciate what a beast this would be!!!

if people think they can realy handle a bike they should first try motorcross, then you know what riding a bike is all about. If you dont believe me try it, it shure suprised me at how crap I was at riding!

kris

P.S respect to any body who dares to be differant.

I know what you mean about the power rangers, I rode over to Poole Quay one Tuesday night with some mates to check it out and it was just lines of factory sports bikes. They were pulling some good wheelies along the front but other than that it wasn't really our scene. We just rode to Matchams Lane instead (both wheels airborne at 110mph most of the length of it - woo-hoo!)

Big respect to the motorcross boys, it's a completely different way of riding to cruising around on a smooth road. A guy I work with who normally does motorcrossing went on a speedway training course last weekend and came back beaming and could hardly walk afterwards. You sit sideways on the bike, sitting so far forward you're practically on the fuel tank, one leg bent in front of you, the other leg stretched out behind you. 0-60 3 secs and no brakes, not bad for a 60's bike

so is holding onto a bike at high Mph, ZX12R 200MPH plus..

Owning the bike is one thing, riding it is something different, the old Supra Vs 300ZX my car is better then your car thread coming on but with bikes i think!!

Nice bike, very nice indeedio!!! wink.gif

202BHP at the crank and 178hp at the back wheel!! I have been on the back doing 175MPH so i used cruZe control, hand on the nutZ, and SQUEZZZZZZZZZE!! that slowed me bro down.

Moreover, the counter-balanced 1198cc engine never seems to break a sweat. The machine somehow communicates a degree of calmness and security to the rider, even while mimicking a bullet fired from a 357 magnum.

A write up before it came out, it exceded expectations

Kawasaki ZX12R

Kawasaki anounced that they will be introducing the ZX12r at the end of this year. This IFO (Identified Flying Object) will be the most powerfull motorcycle that has ever produced. The estimated Topspeed will be more than 340/212 km/mph biggrin.gif

The acceleration part of the performance equation is handled quite well by the 12R. Capable of high nine second quarter miles off the showroom floor, the 12R will simply blow your mind. Dedicated Hayabusa fans might argue the point, but the 12R was proven as quick or quicker than a Hayabusa in more than one comparison (take a look at Britain's Fast Bikes magazine, June 2000 issue, for example). Perhaps, a little less torquey than the Hayabusa below 7,000 rpm, the ZX-12R nevertheless pulls extremely hard from 4,000 rpm and literally explodes above 7,000. biggrin.gif I rest my case.

any one can go fast in a straight line. you try riding round a track that you would not even contemplate walking round at speeds of over 70mph

still 175mph sounds bloody quick! I had 165 out of my ZXR.(go on try motorcross for a day, you know you want to!)

The old fella in the top pic did 164 (regularly) and that was 13-14 years ago !

Thats how my bro broke his back on motor cross, both of my twin bros did M/C when they were young, now he drives fast cars, but the other bro has his ZX12R wihch he has had upto the double ton. frecking idiot 100MPH wheelies and twisted his back. As to pretty quick, thats me at 16 stone and my bro at 15, so 31 stone at 175MPH, planes take off at 150MPH, would ya strap ya self to a wing on a jumbo on take off hehehe..
