Easy cd-da extractor is prob the best out there. It will rip to just about any format and can also convert between most formats. I think the trial runs out after a while but you can just re-install it anyway. Also you can easily find cracks for it if need be.

the disc i want to make a back up of are carminat sat nav disc as i have had to buy another as i scratched the last one so dont want to buy anymore. i have tried clone cd but that did not do it..i think the get made to iso`s or something..not sure

any dvd is the best all you need to do it copy the dvd. for audio use windows media player. thats probaly the easiest way for you
