Urgent Help please

Hi

 

had my Z a month and would like to use it :duffer:

 

 

car was running perfect then it ran a bit rough so cleaned the PTU ever since I cleaned it - it has failed to start at all.

 

I have today got a PTU and a new temp sensor and the damn thing wont start at all still, it really tries to but wont quite

 

any ideas

 

every plug on the engine looks connected and I havent messed with anything apart form the old PTU cant understand why afterwards it wouldnt start at all

 

wiggled things etc still no luck

    yes mate it appears to be one of those that wont even let you turn the ign on if it wasnt working ?

     

    but when you press the button ign comes on and you can turn the car over?

    might be worth changing the battery on the alarm fob, flat battery can make an alarm do weird things as it fooks about with the codeing or fault with the alarm circuit some where even if its just to rule it out, a good cat1 alarm and imobaliser will imobalise the fuel and ignition circuits, it could be possible that the ignition side of the imobiliser as failed or it could be wired into the ptu circuit somewhere (if that can be done) or like i said try another ECU

    hi mate did you manage to solve your problem on z? as i have exactly the same fault iv changed ptu but still no spark at plugs!! any help would be appreciated tnx
