Hi m8,

I finally found the time to fit those brakes today - it was a pretty straight forward job with no major dramas apart from trying to figure out which way round the caliper brackets go :headvswal and modifying the back plates so they dont rub on the disk :headvswal :headvswal . Just need to get them bled properly now and all should be good.

And before anyone says anything yes I know the wheels are manky :mac1:

I honestly cant remember the exact figure m8 I`m still in denial  I got them from smithy about 4-5 months ago, it was less than 4 figures though.

Hmm look tasty my man :)

As for bedding in, most brake companies i've spoken too about this, when new discs and pads, heat em up baby, a number of stops to get the heat in.

cheers

that's how I did it with my porterfields (on a track day) pretty hard use for 5 laps, cool down, then out for 5 hard laps, came in smokin & with bad brake fade, shit myself, cool down, back out and they were superb and never faded for the rest of the day!
