been asked if id allow the garage to take mine out and try in another members car to see if it cures his vibration problem, what do u guys think? car wont be driven or that just on the rollers

I have a vibration due to imbalanced prop shaft.

 

Not too much of a job if you have ramps. both exhausts off, some heat shields. Drain off gear oil and unbolt the prop, pull it out the box.

 

be sure to mark it all up first so you can put it back in the same position or you might end up with a vibration as well!

 

Oh on the stock two peice prop you have a centre bearing, this is bolted to the car with 2 big bolts, these will need to come out, take note of the spacers, they are not washers.
