Checking out prices for induction kits alot £100 plus

 

Thinking of making my own from universal K&N Charge filter, what size pipe will i need or i might a fabricate s/s one.

 

Im sure it will be easy enough anyone done this ?

Yes you can buy cheap kits fella but the filtration is rubbish on a lot of them, plus you need to create the vortex needed for the MAF to opperate correctly so would be hard to make one that works propperly yourself. your best bet is to bite the bullet and buy an Apexi from a trader, think they are normally under the £100 mark and by far the best filter.

Im not missing the point in the slightest fella. They may not be cheap, but their filtration is rubbish fella. And again, your not gonna make the vortex required.

 

Your paying £100 for a direct fit, will make the MAF work correctly and get the best filtration possable along with the best airflow you can with an Apexi. ;)

K&n filters use oil and particles of that oil lodge themselves on the afm hotwire and render if it more ineffective!

 

Apexi is the only way forward ;)
