If it is just a drop you're after (and not multi-setup features) then lowering springs will do the job just fine. Coilovers are usually used where the car requires either multiple ride height adjustments or multiple damper settings. Price wise you're looking at a considerable amount of money. A Tein Flex system (with EDFC) will set you back around £1300.

For a set of lowering springs you are looking at prices between £125 to £300 depending on the brand. We resell AVO lowering springs (£135 for set of four) which drop the car 30mm and increase the springrate by 25% over stock. Quite a few people have these on their cars (ie lack300, harve, james300, me, etc) and you can retain your stock shock absorbers. Installation is straight forward although you're advised to have someone help you as two pairs of hands make work easier. The resulting ride (on AVO springs) is superb! The car feels a lot more solid on the road, corners like on rails and isn't teeth shattering hard.

Hi danny,

135 is that + vat/shipping etc?

Cheers

Marc

Thats £135 + £20 shipping (I don't "do" VAT as I'm not VAT registered).
