Now that I've got my vibes sorted it's time to get the '99 spec front on. I need some of that stainless steel mesh type stuff that people have used to cover the rad and intercooler vents (like Harve?). Any idea where I can get it ?

Thanks

Its definately in Halfords as I almost bought some for my zed. Its around £20- or so.

Hi Andy,

Have you tried Pete @ that well known place in Maldon? I am sure he's got some kicking about the place.

Think he can get it in different colours if required. Mine's a sort of graphite grey colour.

Hi Andy,

Try to avoid car shops if you can! Go to an engineering supplier you'll save a packet.

Its available by the square meter or on a 500mm roll for a couple of quid wink.gif

Cheers all.

(and don't worry Tim and Macca - it must be very reassuring to know that your cars are air and watertight when it rains! biggrin.gif ROFL biggrin.gif)

For what its worth...

The mesh from RGM is top quality. Its woven stainless steel rather than that extruded/cut shite most places will sell you (no offence meant). Its used on Bentleys and other top marques.

Its not cheap though and its a bitch to cut through.

Keep in mind - U only get what u pay 4
