I think they are can anyone confirm this

Martin - the NA has a larger centre box. The TT has restrictor rings in it. If you have an NA I'd recommend a standard TT exhaust with the restrictor rings removed. It'll be slightly louder than the standard NA exhaust and will fit no problem.

The other way round ie NA exhaust onto a TT - I've no experience.

Good luck

the fast anwser is ...NO.....as we did this or ZXMAD and it fitted ok ..but ....it was no good ,as it did not go any faster then 80 mph and drank a lot of petrol.....

put the N/A one back on and the car ran fine....

don't know ..but mit have somthing to do with the map-ing.....

..

The restrictor rings are at the entrance of the cat-back exhausts ie where they join together. They can be removed with a hammer and a screwdriver - three'four spot welds.

I've run NAs for 7 years and prefer the standard TT exhaust on an NA to either a standard NA exhaust or an aftermarket TT exhaust. I've never tried an aftemarket NA exhaust (assuming they exist).I've also never fitted an NA exhaust onto a TT.

I've used both Jap and UK spec Nissan TT exhausts on NAs - both seem the same.

Recently I've replaced an aftermarket TTexhaust with a standard Nissan TT exhaust and found it better (throttle response).

...so, if it's an NA, fit a standard TT exhaust. That's my advise.

Good luck

Aftermarket TT exhausts on the NA tend to be very loud - I've had 2 different types. UK aftermarket exhausts seem to be primarily designed for TTs and without two turbos quietening down the exhaust gasses, they can be too overbearing on an NA. But I'm old. Also, I do think that with a normally asprated car, it's not always about straight-through performance. But that's another can of worms.

Good luck

Jack
