Ok we all know that the zed is the most perfect car ever made :), but if you could perfect it even more what would you change?

 

For me I have a twinplate OS Giken clutch that rattles when the clutch is pressed, as one of the two clutch plates is free to spin :rant:

The clutch fluid goes into the Master cylinder :D

oh and the biggie for me is the HICAS that not only drives me up the wall but it scares the shit out of me as it kicks in way too much when cornering.

The shit standard fuelling is actually correct for a stock map on a turbo'd car ;)

maybe it is but it is still shit!

 

Actually thinking about this, my 200sx had better fueling stock than the zed afr of around 11.5 - 12.5, also I managed 265bhp at the wheels on standard map with only basic mods on it.

........and when the car goes pop running standard boost etc due to shit fuel.... THEN you'd be complainin :D

forst it was the blown engine now changed then the burst water pipe now changed then the burst rad again now changed now i have a bloody oil leak if i manage to get that fixed maybe il have it on the road long enough to get the interior finished

You know it costs £807+vat for a new one and that doesn't include fitting.

Then I would be suing the garage for supplying fuel of shit quality.

 

Found another thing that annoies me to day, the vinyl trim that splits on the sunshades and the boot cover.

I can live with pretty much all of the failings of the zed.

 

Sure, my car has a turning circle no better than a super tanker thats lost all rudder control.

 

I was also told that it's standard practice to have a crop of mustard cress growing nicely on the stock rear spoiler at all times.

 

And certainly, my stock brakes make for, lets us say, an 'interesting' driving experience...

 

And damm right, if I want another wipe of the windshield, I don't want some jap-arsed wiper controller 'JK-flip-flop' logic telling me to have "another wipe to be sure to be sure" (Irish or what?)

 

And yes, come to think of it, it would be nice to see the road on those nights when I can't rely on a full moon to keep me on the grey stuff.

 

But yes; I can live with all these faults.

 

But why oh why oh why does driving my beautiful zed make some women think that they can approach me for no-strings sex? Just because I am driving arguably one of the best looking cars ever created, surely that does'nt give women the right to throw themselves at me and demand the ride of their lifetime? Please Lord, let me have Fiat Multipla back....

Its probably a bit late to tell you this, but.....under £250 from Major windscreen suppliers.....fitted !

 

which is amazingly cheap considering its design (lowest angle rake of any production car of its time)....or about £50 2nd hand (we have quite a few at work)

 

...or free when you do it through insurance
