I have had two Zs which have been my first jap cars and they have been good to me (no stupid bills). I’ve had VW, Audi and bmw because I liked the bullet proof engines and build quality, I’ve never had a Merc but I would like to have this baby Mmmmmm.

id love an 850 beemer. they are in my price range to now. i love the yellow one.

that ka that si posted is obsenely ugly yuck lol gimmi a bugatti EB110 4 turbos an 4 wheel drive thats my favorite!!!!

yup :D

One of these followed me off the motorway the other day and they look so menacing. Have that nice shark nose appearance to it like the glorious old 635CSi.

These are two cars where BMW actually managed to make look stunning. Their new stuff though....I have little time for appearance-wise.

I looked at buying an 840 before deciding on a Z. Was one of my top 3 choices. But all the ones that were in my price range were high mileage/tatty autos.

i know ime gunna get slated for this but that red one in the pics you posted in my opinion has nicer body lines than the zed,and has the illusion of a wide bodied (at the rear) race car. i think the only thing that lets them down is that german gearbox with the dog-leg first gear :nono: i think there called a ZF gearbox

There are certain things about the Z that I do prefer over the 850, but I love the pillarless design and the bulging arches.

^^^ if you squint, there's a strong hint of Z32 in the front of these.

You and me are one mate!!-always loved the 8 series!-was only looking around a silver one today!-nice big engine bay as well...................

Hmmm... you can get a really late (1998/99) 840 for about £10K.... a lot of car for the money!

I bet running costs aren't cheap though.

the rear legroom is as bad as the 300 tho. big big cars.

i saw one in my local scrappy a couple of years ago for 3k only needed a bonnet and wing. i was soo tempted but i knew

1 i would never get insured

2 i would never be able to afford to keep it out of the red fuel light

I actually had a guy in a petrol station ask me if my car was a Bugatti EB110 :slap: :D

Now your talking the one car I would love to have. Mmmmm

Thats my kinda car......superb clean lines, not overtly aggressive

Just sleek n sexy............

Dammit...i'm talking about my self again :nelson:

The dogleg first gear was developed for the track, you only usually need first gear for starting off and the occasional tight (sub 30mph) hairpin. So it was demed better to put that gear to the 'side' and have 2nd and 3rd in a srtaight line so you could change gear faster.

If i ever sold the Z32 i always wanted one of these :D I'd have one as an N/A and the other one have a Twin Turbo conversion done on it :D :http://www.dodge.com/en/viper08/index.html

This looks mad (or bad), it looks like something ZZ top would get out of. Imagine seeing that in your mirror.

That's one of the modified Audi TTs from I-Robot isn't it?
