tension rod conversion.....

Just been thinking (ohhherrr) anybody thinks about this idea, Cutting the tension rod bush housing off, then machining a thread maybe M16 or M20 depending on diameter of the shaft, then screwing a rod end bearing on female type to suit......then spacing the bearing in the middle of the lower arm with ally spacers or something alike.....

What do you thinks peeps...
