hi peeps just got some anthracite leather to get rid of the tweed on my panals as they are stained and nasty has anyone ever recovered theirs ..if so how hard is it and has anyone any tips/advise on how to do it

hope you have a lot of patience. i covered mine in letherette it was a pain in the arse. but you do get high on the contact adhesive tho lol :rofl:

I did mine. Its not too bad a job. Door cards are a little tricky (had some help from people that had done it before)

 

Dont take the tweed off the door cards, just cover straight over, cause the tweed is sponge backed and if you peel it off, you will rip bits of sponge out and not have a smooth surface.

 

The worse bit is trying to remember where all the screws go to hold all the interior back together, lol.

 

Oh and the little bit to the left of the glove box is tricky to get creases out of too!

cheers mate.i dont need contact adhesive to get high tho...........i suppose the more time i take the better the results is it possible to do it in a weekend
