I had an 88 face Lift z31 single turbo a couple of years ago, before I modded it , it did 7.0 dead to 60 and 148 indicated mph top end, then I modded it to produce 300 bhp, then it did 6.4 to 60 and an indicated 161 mph top end, 1/4 mile in 14.9 secs

Hi,

I have a 1987 Z31 Turbo at the moment and although it only produces as much power as my previous NA Z32 (228 v 230bhp), it has much more torque (242 v 200 ftlbs),so the mid/high range acceleration is better.

"What Car" tested the facelift Turbo model in Dec 1988 and recorded 0-60 in 6.8 secs, 100mph in 18.6 secs and a top speed of 141mph.

I believe the factory, speed limited the cars to 230kph, which would give a top speed of around 137mph.With a boost kit this can easily be overcome and increased wink.gif
