I don't use the railway network very much. Whilst I don't mind traveling by train, I only tend to use it to get to airports etc.

I'm off to Chicago next month and have just tried to get a price on a return ticket from Bristol to London....nothing mega, a relatively short 2hr trip.

£154 return!!! I mean that's absolutely insane. How can the rail network justify this? It's criminal! Not to mention the fact that the government and all the greeny meanies are trying to tempt all of us out of our cars and onto public transport.

I'm quite happy to use public transport....but those are NOT public prices.

PS...if anyone lives close to Heathrow and wouldn't mind me parking at/near theirs for a week, please give me a shout. :)
