hks f-con v-pro

car went in today for final tune after rebuild and running in period.anyway managed to get hold of hks f-con v-pro and when they hooked it up to the computer it would not comunicate they said that they have the 3.23 hks software and that i had the version 3 ecu and the new software can't comunicate with old if thats makes sense.does anyone know of a tuner that has old software apart from abbey motorsport as thats where it is now.really want to sell it on but not if nothing can be done with it as brought a new one that i know will work

any advice welcome
