My zed is off the road for work at the moment. Is anyone driving their zed in the snow and having fun keeping the rear end and tyres in control :smw:

Took me 10 mins to get across town from my mate's house.

 

Couldn't even get up the hill without it squirming.

 

I actually got cramp holding the accelerator as steady as i could and it still understeered/oversteered in the corners.

 

I have to drive to a wedding tomorrow so i hope its sorted and thawed by then :(

Yup thats an idea, compact all the snow with loads of weight and turn it into Ice under the tires! :hyper: :slap:

Actually keeping that big fuel tank topped up would help.

Wed: go to Haydock Park in the dry. Thur: drive around a lot in the snow. Fri: drive back home back thru the Midlands in the snow to merry Heathrow. Gosh what fun. Maybe this is a plus side to stock Zeds :hyper:

 

 

If you're still nervy about driving your Zed in slippy (rain / snow / ice) conditions then either your mods are perhaps a little extreme for a daily driver or there's a mechanical problem or you should improve your skills (which makes you faster / safer in any conditions anyway so there's nothing to lose)
