by the way not sure its as simple as a fuse as the drivers door power lock works ok ?? confused ..........is there a seprate fuse for each side ??

Not sure how the central locking works, I know my alarm needed an additional solenoid in the passenger door.

Anyway, don't wanna insult you here, but if you're wiring up fogs then you are running them through a relay, right ?

yes Andy ive just lost the origional 12volt feed to th erelay for some reason

hooked in a seperate 12v untill i can find the cause of the lost power , this is dating back month swhen a tree fell on my car took the wing mirror off and then my electrical problems started from then .could have been much worse though so im lucky .

Its the drivers door that needs the extra solenoid. Central locking works by locking the drivers door but not the passener door, because there's only a solenoid in the passenger door. Sounds like a fuse has popped when the wing mirror was taken off. Best bet is to check every fuse in the foot well...
