WTF?

"Sorry sir but due to small bridge being dangerous we are closing it for repairs - approx 6 MONTHS".

I now have to drive 4 miles around small muddy country lanes to get out of my house just to reappear 100 yards from it!!

The reason given for the bridge collasping was the WEIGHT of HGVs going over it, NO HGV could fit down it so it must be guy next door with the SUPRA!

I could allways do a dukes of hazard and build a ramp to jump the bugger, plus I could get the missus to wear those denim shorts!

Roy,

I know the feeling mate!!

They are due to close the Birmingham Road, the main route for me to get to and from work, if I can't use this road I will have an extra 4 miles a day put on my journey, means I have to get up earlier and get home later!!

All the road works are here till 2004 but lucky for me the Birmingham Road is only shut for 4 months'ish.

Matty.

Are Supras heavier than Zs? I know they're bigger, but there's a shit load of weight saving stuff on these beasts. Plastic fuel tanks, aluminium bonnetts, carbon fibre carpets, blah de blah, etc, etc!

BigRoy, similar thing down here happened, for those that know the Mumbles in Swansea, they will know that it's very popular and only one road in and out. A little bridge on this road had to be fixed, can't remember how long it was closed/restricted for but was utter chaos. frown.gif

Thought they (Zed & Soup) were both pretty much 1600Kg.

Supra Twin turbo weighs in at 3600lbs, Nissan 300zx Twin turbo at 3630lbs, the Zed is heavier.

But Supras normally have more than 30lb of hair dresser's accessories in the back so in normal use the Z is lighter

Nice one LOL
