No i dont want to know what colour i should go for

but rather how much in average you can expect to pay for a respray on a Zed.

Ive never had any car resprayed so i really have no idea how much money it costs. How much did your respray cost and where did you go ?

At the moment im thinking a Kandy colour would be nice?

failing that just a straight black respray, or the Skyline baby blue colour or somthing

For a full respray...ie colour change including door shuts, engine bay, windows and panels off etc...I'd budget for at least £4k - £5k and rising dependant up job/paint etc. Cheap, but reasonable blow overs can be had for about £1000. Much less, unless mate's rates, would be wary about it. A decent blow over with trim removed, like mine, cost about £3,500...but I also had other stuff done to mine, like 2 days spent sanding all the nasty finish off the bumpers, scimming the tailgate and fitted a spoiler...

Saying that though, I stripped the car back before hand though, so saved about a day's labour.

Kandy is quite expensive as it's a 3 stage paint, bit like pearl so you could add quite a bit on to that.

sorry whats a blow over ?

A blow over basicially is just a repaint of the visual panels.
