I've changed my front brakes callipers and rotors and took off my rears for cleaning/spraying. I got them back on no problem, but last week I couldn't bleed the fronts as I kept getting air coming through. That turned out to be the master cylinder leaking and I put a new piston kit in today. The problem I now have is I can't get any pressure on the pedal. I have bled the brakes 3 times (using instructions from TT.net and the Nissan manual) and there is no more air coming out. Unless I pump the pedal, I get no pressure and after about 10 seconds after I get pressure I press the pedal again, there is no pressure.

Please, any suggestions??????????

Cheers

Vijay

Hi Vijay,

I had the same prob when I tried a bit of DIY on the Pug, could not get them fully bled DIY - take the car to a garage and get them pressure-bled.

Should not be too expensive.

Just drive careful to the garage ! smile.gif

Cheers Glen,

You were right, more air stuck in there. Got a mechanic from round the corner who drives a 300 to have a look and he sorted it. Turns out he's been working on 300's for Nissan since 1989, fully Nissan trained.
