Hey everyone! Just thought here was as good a place as any to make my first post.

Im Steve, im into drifting and my zed will defo be getting setup for that in the next few months!

I got my 300zx TT Manual from Caz on here who now has my porsche 944, My previous car to that was a tuned 200sx S13 which I also used and built for drifting.

Anyways, no doubt speak/see/annoy most of you very soon and through various posts in here!

Im very technically minded and always witrk on cars myself rather than get the garage to do it so hopefully ill be able to add some advice etc to the tech section now and then :)

Bye for now!

drifting was not fun it was too easy especially coming out of johhnies street lol

Ahhhh that day was utter class! How close did you come to that big metal green box at the side of the road again? I'll have to dig that out when I get home :D We need another day like that again to get the ginger one back to his old self!

Sure can as mine's drifted a few times now LOL

LOL prove it

No, I mean DRIFT, as in 200SX/RX7 drift, not just get the arse out for a few seconds...

Excellent, nice to meet you matey. Long way to go for her zed though? :D

Nick

We were talking about that on the way home.

It turns out we've travelled south for around 15 cars, lol.

It's quite funny. After a few months, you start looking for those 8 letters appearing on your mobile phone....

"ROADTRIP!!!!!!"

No, I mean DRIFT, as in 200SX/RX7 drift, not just get the arse out for a few seconds...

If it's got rear wheel drive, Steve will drift it ;)

He managed to get an MX5 to drift FFS! and they are specifically created to have perfect 50/50 weight balance for cornering efficiancy, lol.

Nah, main thing is to get rid of the Hicas, then we're talkin.

D.

They do use 2x2 z32 to drift in japan but as far as i know none have been prepared for any uk or irish drift series .Mainly due to weight they can be slimed down but there still a heavy car .In japan they tend to fit the sr20det engine for weight and easier to fix than the vg engine and theres an endless supply of them .Some have the rb25 or 26 engine as well.To prep a zed for drift you will need a threw the dash cage stripped interior, tension rods adjustable rear upper arms, hicas lock bar ,bucket seats and frames ,machincal clutch pack type lsd, coilovers, polybushes ,batt cut .plumed in fire exhingusher, harness. thats just the basics

zed drifting.

That kind of proves my point - see how twitchy it is, it doesn't 'sit' in a drift as nicely as some of the other jap cars do.....

at one point you see him lock the front up to keep it going.........so on that point ill agree with ya m8ty suspension set up looks way too stiff on it as well as he bounces twice

Ahhhh that day was utter class! How close did you come to that big metal green box at the side of the road again? I'll have to dig that out when I get home :D We need another day like that again to get the ginger one back to his old self!

I remember that day

Still got the video on my PC somewhere :D
