Top rad pipe

What size is the top rad pipe please? I need to get a coupling so that I can wire in my temp gauge properly, at the moment I've got both temperature gauges wired into the stock sender unit. :nono:

    The stock rubber top rad pipe is ID (internal Diameter) 38mm going to ID42mm. The stainless steel top rad pipe we [DTA] fabricate is ID38mm all the way through and has two ID38mm silicone couplers.
