This 98 2 seater turbo is a fiver short of 20 Grand! It hasnt even got leather!

Still, having a Z with 1800km's would be nice biggrin.gif ,thats just over 1000 miles I think. All you'd have to do is clean it!

Cheap skates by 1998 evidently! Not even got digi air-con control, nevermind leather! Phuket that right off at 20K. Mind you, that guy at SE open day had a 1997 I think. Me and Mr. P will both testify to how nice and clean it was.

Bet she drives smooth though! 1800kms, pebble in the ocean of Z ownership! Dreaming!

In '99 I looked into the cost of importing a brand spanking 99 model and at the time it came out at about £27K, but the value of the Yen may have changed since then. Also, since they are no longer made it is possible that there may be a collectability value in Japan, and (again) buying cars outside their 3 year MOT test (can't remember what it's called) makes them more expensive, unless they're nicked of course ..... - sorry, bad joke !

Jap MOT = Shakken

See, not that much of a Terry??? LOL!

Hi,

I see it's a lighter weight 2 seater 'slicktop'..perhaps why it's got the cloth Recaro seats and manual climate control.

Would make a good project car for the twisty bits, at the right price.

I came across this site and this 300ZX last August/September. It doesn't look any different to then, including the price.

It gave me quite a start, as I was waiting for my 300ZX to be delivered and only had a very similar picture at the time. (Was somebody else selling the car, and I had just bought an expensive photo?...)

This is a much later post but if you come across this vehicle do some checking. It may have been first registered in the UK in 1998 but it looks like a pre 1994 model to me. Early model spoiler and cloth trim. Definitely check out the chassis number against manufacturing year. From the background in the picture it would have been sourced from IBC in Japan associated with Autoterminal in the UK.
