Guys and Gals,

 

For those of you who chatted to me knew my Zed was getting the better of me....Im sooo happy to tell you that I have sold it to a great home and hopefully the new proud owner will log on to this site...

 

Im gonna miss my Zed but at least its gone to a good home. It will be making its journey to its new home in Glasgow tomorrow!!!! Oh yeah watch out if you live around there..the new owner has a bargain car !!! well I have something sneeky to admit... I px'ed it for his Porsche 944 ooops!! :x: sorry guys but my Zed was costing too much and I havent driven it since November.

 

Im gonna miss you all whom I chatted to on this site and I hope that,,although no longer a Zed owner you will still be happy for me to visit this site from time to time...the Zed has always been my love since I brought it..I am gutted but I will have my consolation prize!!!

All of you guys have been great..I'l def log on to let you know how it stands up to the ZEd..in terms of running well of course...even though it does a measerly 0-60 in 8 secs :x:

lol :D People either have a good or a bad experience with any car unfortunately you got a bad one. Let's hope one day you'll find the right one for you :)

I do have regrets but we just couldnt get the air out of the power steering pipe..we tried for 6 weeks! then it ran out of its MOT etc etc......I hope the porsche will serve well.....I'll still be looking in a few months time for a Zed bargain thou..as Nick said, once a Zed driver always a Zed driver

Well...if Im a member...im sure I still count?!! I will still log on as I LOVE Zeds and Ive chatted with a great crowd of folk especially credit to Sarah, Honniepie (sorry dunno your name!), Trinity and Eileen, they have been great and I just hope more females go out there and get a Zed! Maybe in the future I will....again...experience did not put me off just current situation and need a car thats running...so thats my story...I will ensure that my Zeds new owner makes an effort to get on this forum as he will make new friends, love it, have great banter and advice and best of all I get to see what my EX Zed has become!!!!

 

Seriously I promise to log on regular and once in a better situation I WILL be looking for my perfect Zed...sooner than later I hope,

Well Steve and I had a good drive home in the Zed :D

 

Had a look at some of the broken bits when we got home.

 

We reckon the replacement PS pump is also goosed, so we'll try another one today.

 

Apart from that, the car drives beatifully, Steve is WELL happy. I'll get him signed up here soon.

Zed is fixed!

 

Power steering pump was fecked, but luckily I had a spare ;-)

 

Everything going well now.

Hello! Yes its me! Signed up at last, Already started tinkering with the zed today and most of yesterday, woke up this morning to u puddle of coolant beneath it though due to a burst radiator :( so thats all sorted now too, I then fitted a leather interior just because dave had one sitting doing nothing!

 

Also got some modded rear lights on it that look similar to 99 spec ones :)

 

Tell you what though, these things done half like the taste of Vpower..... or any other fuel for that matter!!! Jeeeeezzz!!! I thought my 200sx was bad!

 

Oh well thats the price you pay for power! Just have to get her motd now so thats the plan for one day this week!

 

Hope you enjoy your Porsche Caz! its really good fun to drive! just wait till you get some nice sunny weather and you can go posing in it with the sunglasses on! hehehe!

One of my close friends is Dave Perry od dpmotorsport Famous for tuning and racing Porsches. For the last 7 years he's been constantly telling me to Buy a Porsche because it would be much cheaper to run. (OK he sells them but I could have one of him at tradin price)

 

Invoices for arund £37K to date and that does not include the £16K I paid for her back in 1999.

PMSL :rofl: So true, this is my 3rd and most tidiest Zed I've owned. I spent my time finding a good one with most of the stuff I wanted already done so I wouldn't have to shell out much.........I still ended up spending 7 grand in the first 18 months!
