I have a red flashing light next to my digital clock on the centre consol. This has only started flashing since I installed my indiglo dials installed/lights rewired.

I am assuming (mechanic) as ever reconnected a wire or something.

Anyone know what it's for?

It's not standard so could be just about anything.

Most likely an alarm or something?

As above more than likely an alarm or some sort of immobiliser

sounds obvious but does the car open/start properly. does the light flash all the time eg. while driving, while alarm armed, while disarmed, etc.

Car starts fine and the light is now constantly flashing at the same steady pace, about once every second.

It is like a standard immobilizer light but thought it best to check.

Got an electrician coming to finish my wiring on Wednesday so prob just get him to check it out.

Sounds like a good plan bud ;)

Was going to sugest just tracing the wires yourself, to see where they go.

If you take it out Dave wants first dibs on it for his LED collection
