ok just upped my boost to 15psi and it seems there is a problem, when it hits max boost it "feels" like Boost cut, I have this happen when its wet and put it down to vented front panel letting moisture into the filter/maf but now i think my maf might be on the way out, any advice appreciated guys as i know what boost cut feels like and it was the same damn feeling but these dont have boost cut do they?

are you sure that it hasnt started since you put the boost up?? if so it may be the spark blowing out, happened on mine when i boosted my old yellow one up, changed the spark plugs for some cooler ones and sorted it out :)

i am running the colder ones already bud, it only used to happen after heavy rain thats why i put it down to the maf

I had this, felt like the whole thing just lost power above 12 psi. Was a faulty recurc valve causing a boost leak which only occured above a certain psi.

Defo worth swap testing the maf tho as it only takes 2min, mine died after heavy rain but the hesitation was there above 3k rpm reguardless of how much boost i was running when maf was burnt out.

HTH

I have both fitted as my dv's are top mount.

What i'm saying is swap test the maf but your prob sound more like a boost leak.

hmm might get a boost tester made up, the maf is easy to check if u have a spare one hanging around otherwise i have to buy one

I borrowed one, then bought it.

Just made a boost leak detector from my old broken maf, some wood, a car valve and exhaust seal!

Yep they have boost cut but its way over 15psi... Refered to as TTP max...
