I'm allergic to cigarette smoke (one of the chemicals in it) so i can't wait for this to happen now.

If you're a smoker how are you dealing with it? Giving up smoking? Boycotting the pubs?

They put the price up to make up the shortfall they are gonna have when

upto a million stop this year. And when more and more stop which they

will probably be close to wiping it out in 2 to 3 generations your fookin pint will cost about a tenner

yeah no smoking in pubs.............and soon no drinking and no talking

ive ran pubs since i was 18, and the pub im in now is already none smoking. much nicer, cleaner......roll on 1st july when every pub will be the same.

Looks like the poll speaks for itself. I bet half the people that voted 'yes' were smokers as well.

I find i'm more inclined to drink if all my mates are drinking in the pub so there's peer pressure there and i think smoking must be far worse.

 

Without all the smokers there giving peer pressure i can see alot of people giving up

Pubs/bars in the US are smoke free and it's so much more pleasant.

 

Try a nightclub in Dublin where fags are banned - smells of Guinnes farts and BO!

and ime sure you,ve said the same thing to smoking buses,taxis,construction sites,people who stink of booze (and far more anti-social) nucular power stations and all the waste that puts out,oil refinerys,coal burning power stations,scrap yards that cut cars up and release toxins,and anything else that pollutes the air on a daily basis (leave your white shirts on the line for 2 days and see iff they stay white :rofl: ) so come on how the fvk is me having a smoke on my own property going to effect you life,and just to put this health thing to bed my cholestrol is under 3, my blood pressure is 128/76,i workout,dont have a cough,have all my own white teeth with only 1 filling,can still run 5 mile without finnishing on my knees,and according to my missus dont stink of fags and can still make her smile at least 4 nights a week ;) . so on that note all of ya carry on killing your livers with shitty booze that i have,nt touched in 12 years goodnite :nana2: :nana2:
