Okay peeps,

there are two new forums for us to use.

When you use them, please bear in mind what you are saying.

They are currently unmoderated, but if things get out of hand, Nico and i might have to change that, and validate every post.

Believe me, i DO NOT want to do this, as i have a more than full time job already....

Failing that, they might disappear !

If you can present the facts of your bad experiences, then others can make their minds up for themselves.

I know we all like to rant about things, especially when something has only just happened, but just be sensible, please.

I'm sure all good and bad will even themselves out eventually...

Craig & Nico,

The new forums are a Great idea!

Since finding the site just about 1 month ago, its got to be the best 300ZX site in the UK if not world wide. Keep up the good work and please don't moderate the forums as its important to hear what peoples experiences have been with companies, be it good or bad. The companies in question can always post a reply back!

Do you know when the next meet will take place?? I've only had my 300ZX for 2 months now and I really look forwad to meeting everyone and chatting about Zeds.

Also will you be offering email addresses???? I'm really looking forward to getting George@300zx.co.uk ;-)

Once again THANKS for a great site, without wishing to sound too corny!

Craig & Nico

The new forums get my thumbs up. At least now we get an Idea of who we might be dealing with.

Keep up the good work.

Eddie ;-)

Take advice before you need legal advice:

Drop the 'bad' forum, but keep the 'good' one. Let's just assume that anyone not in the good is in the bad ....

nope i disagree people have the right to freedom of speech and nobody can take that away from you, so keep the bad one as it is the best scource for people to not get taken

Andy,

the only problem with that is some companies will appear in both...

in which case, you will not see any bad things about someones experiences with a company, only another person's good experience (woah... must be an easier way to say that lot ;)

i know what you are saying though Andy, and that was the whole reason i tried to make it clear about how people should write in the bad.

it would be better if some of the companies could defend themselves, but you know, some of them dont even call you back when you they say they will.. so to ask them to watch the forum is wasted breath....

to be honest, there would be no point in having one without the other, we might just as well stick to one forum for everything, and then get good/bad/good/bad/bad/good same old thing cropping up every couple of weeks

if anything legal crops up, then i always have the option to remove any questionable material

hopefully though, people will post sensible factual information, and not force me to remove them....

i will check out who is liable for what with my employer's legal department next week, just in case...

unless of course, you happen to work for one of the bad ;) in which case.....

Just keep one eye on the libel laws ...

And no, I'm not linked with any of them - except as a paying customer.

what about freedom of choice , you look at the two and decide for yourself, if the company involved did there job properly or tried to attempt what is called "customer service " then we would only have one forum he he he

Andy,

We're all paying customers with these companys and this is why the service needs to be good if not excellent.

If the service does not meet a minimum standard then why keep it from others?

As Craig has already mentioned, people need to be sensible with what they are saying and I'm sure that the forum won't start including slanderous statements.

Steve,

I can't agree more with you.

If those companies don't like it, then its about time they drop the arogant attitude and start behaving reputably.

At the end of the day if a companies name crops up in the bad forum a few too may times, then there's probably some customer service issues they need to sort out pretty quickly.

There's no excuse for blatant rudeness and arogant behaviour as some people have experienced.

Companies like that don't deserve my business and we all need to know who they are.

Lets hope sooner or later they'll sort their act out.

Free speech for all..

Thats what its about..Traders only need be worried for the right reasons...its actually our cash to spend not theirs to steal.

We welcome with open arms, good advice/service etc.. and will return to quality "traders"

To traders..please let us know who u are when on this forum..

We have nothing against you unless u deserve it...

Respect due to this forum

keep it going at all costs

New forums are a good idea, giving praise to the good companies encourages them to keep high standards, slagging off the ones not offering the goods will either give them a good kick up the arse or they lose business.

A few years ago the Z was a rare sight on the roads and the forum as it was then was a fair bit quieter, now they are everywhere and more people are logging on to get help and avvice. It is only fair that owners with no mechanical knowledge are pointed in the right direction and kept away from the rip-off merchants.

These cars are expensive enough to keep on the road and to most of us are probably the most expensive thing we own, i don`t see why unnecessary cash should be thrown away because no one knows any different about what they should be paying or what should be expected.

Craig/Nico, keep it up, this is the best place to get advice for our motors, thank-you.

Bob
