Well I brought my dremel to make holes in my door card to fit my tweeters thinking I'd probably never use it again.

 

But haha! It's been an absolute star in the last few days. Slicing up my battery cable, stripping the end off the cable, cutting through an old negative connector stuck to said cable, cutting off the ends of the bolt that got stuck in my new gold 'shrimpy' connector, then using it to make a divot in the bolt and then using it to drill through it (the actual drill wasnt fast enough).

 

Fantastic piece of machinary and absolutely invaluable!

They do an 'own brand' version in woolies and a mckellar one in focus for about 15 quid. Dunno how they compare though. But they're so damn handy.

Nooooooooooooo don't do the own brand/cheap shite stuff, I've got one (was a present :rolleyes: ) really not powerfull enough, mine doesn't hold a charge really long enough, and won't work from the mains lead, so once the batts flat you're fooked!!

It's usually the way with these cheap woolies battery powered things

I bought a cheapy with about 2000 bits and bobs! came with a flexible extension on the end. I bought it from B&Q for about £20. Damn thing is ace :D
