will lowering car 0.8 catch on 17 icnh wheels?

want to lower my car but am not sure if it will touch wheels

    steve e uses eibachs with 18" wheels, and he hasnt mentioned any problems previously to me, so i guess you should be fine with 17"s.

     

    although you might need to stiffen the suspension a bit more first

     

    i think you should worry more about the wheel width than diameter, as the outside diameter should stay fairly consistent with the right profile tyres to match size.

     

    the width of the wheel and tyre is where you might run into more trouble rubbing against the inner arch/plastic trim etc, especially in front.
