Guys, like most of us ive spent a fair amount on the Z, but i have standard insurance.

Thing is i haven't really spent the money on the looks of the car, more replacing and upgrading other parts. Do you think its poss to include this things on a value agreed scheme?

New stock turbos

£3k worth of repairing and respraying bodywork (standard shape)

Greg Dupree divorced downpipes

Greg Dupree de-cat pipes with flex joints & Resonators

Greg Dupree X-pipe

Sebring backboxes with quad 3.5" tailpipes

RPS Street clutch

RPS lightened flywheel

Apexi Induction cone

SE Lowering Springs / New Nissan dampers

EBC Grooved Front / Rear Discs

EBC Red Stuff ceramic pads

Cheers

i have agreed value of 9 grand mate using a classic car policy it costs me and the misses £220 a year with a £300 excess but we have to be insured on another car full time ie- this is why we have the punto sporting aswell .

we are limited to 6000 miles a year in the beast but thats fine - and on the agreed valuation they dont really care what mods you have as such because its agreed at a price -- if that makes any sense at all i mean why else would you be insuring a 2 grand car for 9 grand see what i mean :)

I see mate, i hardly do any miles myself, norm about 4-5k a year so perhaps i should look into that then.

Who do you use if you dont mind me asking?

Dan.

its a toy mate weekends summer fun shows etc.. the punto is the every day car i think it would be terrible to use the z as an every day car + its cheaper to run the 2 cars cars than just the z every day if you see what i mean ;)

we use performane direct to insure both cars ok bud

I have just swithced to Adrian Flux, in order to get the agreed value I want. Bit a ball ache, as they wanted to know the far end of a fart. Had to fill in about a dozen forms.

Managed to get an agreed value of £18K. Insured as second car with 3000 miles per year limit.

i agree steve there are some forms to fill in lol - but its worth the trouble in the end i think - at least if she goes i get my money back - well more really lol

Funny i just called Adrian Flux and they came up with a 6k miles limit per year and an initial 10k cover but said i would need an independant person to come down and value the car, because i was after a bigger value cover than £6k (just photos/forms to be sent). They said i might be able to do this through the club.

You guys have to do this?

seems to be a bit harder to find people as it would be the main motor for me as i commute by train, but a lot of them seem to want you to have another car like you have.

cheers for ur help guys.

Hi.

It depends on what scheme we quoted. Some of our schemes only require a self decleration form completing where as some of them do require an independent or owners club valuation.

Thanks.
