same here my clutch is slipping at high revs.

goin to need a performance clutch next, but which one?

Craig, that sounds like a problem with the hydraulic system rather than the clutch itself. How low was the fluid? See if there's any fluid leaking from the clutch slave cylinder (drivers side, front of gearbox).

hi andy thanks for the reply.have just been under the car and there is a leak, not from the slave cylinder but what looks like its coming from inside the gearbox casing next to it.do you think it would be best to still bleed and see what happens.

Sounds like 'maybe' rear crank oil seal leaking and has contaminated the clutch plate 'perhaps'

Clutch fork piviot snaped or come of ball or release bearing broken up maybe.

yep think it is my rear crank seal thats leaking.would this cause clutch to lose its hydraulics though.

press the clutch while looking under the car and see if you see oil leaking/dripping.

Most likely the rubber hose to the slave cylinder is ruptured/leaking.

i will be changing the hose this weekend.anyone know if i need to drain out the fluid first or is it a case of just unbolting the old one and replace with new one.any help would be greatly appreciated.

Craig the problem could be scousers.

Usually when anything goes it's down to scousers.

Acually I know some very sound scousers(is that enough to get my stuff back Guy's) and they are great people.

so if your clutch has gone it was proberbly sold tonight in the Robin Hood

Honestly I really do know some really sound people from Liverpool and its only a joke.

How quickly can you swap it? LOL The fuid will leak out as soon as you break the connection so put something under there to catch it. Have fun bleeding it back up, lots of patience required! Also don't forget the extra bleed point on the drivers wing, just behind the headlight ;)
