I've been having boost problems for a couple of weeks, It only comes on full boost at about 5000rpm when it used to be 3000. At 3000 it's only on about 3-4psi :( . I've had a good check around for a possible boost leak and have so far been unsuccessful. It also has a metallic tinkling sound coming from the turbo area which you can only hear at around 2-2500rpm as the throttle is let off. I took it to my local garage today (he's done work for me before) and he had a listen to it and suggested that it could be the actuator. He's getting it up on the ramps for a proper inspection on Tuesday, anything else he should look for? If it is the actuator, is it servicable/adjustable? If not, is it going to hurt me financially?
 to your wisdom.
