UK cars are H3 but Japanese imports use H3c.

I presume other European models will use H3 too? Depends where yours is from...

If you want to upgrade to HID lights then you will indeed need an H3 conversion kit for the dipped beam.

That is the same whether you have a UK car or an import as the bulb pattern is the same (it's just the wires on the stock bulbs that differ between H3 and H3C).

Speak to Danny at DTA.

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

And then wire in a relay so you can use the high beam safely.

Just done mine, now I can flash without damaging my bits!

Never really heard of such a thing. Personally I just grounded my HIDs to some other part of the car rather then using the plug ground. So what damage can happen and where did you come across this info?

When you flash your high beams it turns off your dips momenterly. HIDs dont like being turned off and on quickly as they need a 'start' period to warm up. The relay just keeps the dips on when you turn on the high beams.

Doesnt take long to do at all, just need another blue Nissan relay and a 100V 1Amp diode (25p) I'll look for the link you ya!

Here you go.... I must get this done myself.

I've had to split it into two parts, because of the upload limit here. Just right click, save as!

Then you can paste them back together yourself :D
