Wheel Spacers

In an attempt to keep the car looking as standard as possible but at the same time upgrading the brakes to R33's or from a 350 what's does everyone think about using spacers with the standard wheels, will this give me the offset i need to put bigger brakes on or is it also the internal diameter of th wheels i need to increase hence go from 16" to 18" so i can fit the brakes inside th wheel.......

 

Just a thought!

    Had to put spacers on my 18"s even.

     

    Only 5mm but still a pain.

     

    Has made the car handle better for some strange reason.
