Thinking of buying one of the Blue Flame with Oval pipe exhausts, anyone got them recommend them?

I have a Mongoose twin pipe but fancy something a little different/better sounding......

Any thoughts...also any HP gain (probably more noise than gain!!!)

the blue flame is a bit loud and the mongoose does restrict air flow. i have the one from ebay with the x pipe and does sound very nice and is a good build, it was from the ebay seller 2fas2cool

mongoose and blueflame are the same exhaust company.

How can a bigger diameter exhaust restrict airflow.

I have a Mongoose Blueflame It is loud but I love it

:duffer:

B&B slash cut if you can get hold of them IMHO, the nicest looking exhaust by a long shot. Good quality too. (seen on the right hand Z)

Highly regarded in the states. Considering replacing my Veilside exhaust with one, althought probably won't. They are about £500 from the US.

something to do with the baffles, Andy P said something about it when i was getting my Ebay one they run a different ECU map for them

I've got a blueflame from E bay and i don't think it's too loud.Looked decent quality but i can't tell you if there is much power gain as i put it on as soon as i got the car.Apparently the guys at blue flame made the exhausts for mongoose and then went on there own taking all the mongoose templates with them :x:

Got Blueflame myself , sounds nice and very good quality

I too have a Blueflame and it's the dog's bo11ox - looks good, sounds great and as I took my car to the factory, was custom made and fitted  And all for the bargain price of £385 incl. fitting

Ive got the set up on the left, came with the car when imported, Ive shone the endplates and tail pipes up and fitted a wings west bumper and I think it looks great!

mongoose and blueflame are the same exhaust company.

NO they are NOT the same company at all.

then why do blueflame make mongoose's exhaust. Its just what ive been told by several different forum boards

ah just read rumble's post, they used to make em.

si when you say b+b is that Billy Boat exhausts.surely they cost more than $500 or have you been searching for bargains again?

No, £500, not $500! That's the base price. About $1000, then you add some for 2+2 and then some more for that particular style. Works out at about $1500 which is circa £800.

Been on z1's stie lookin at exhausts, wots does everyone think of the g reddy sp2 exhausts and has anyone tried the labree?

blue flame will make you anything if you take the car up there. takes a day you start with their generic 300 system (that they also made as a subcontractor to mongoose) you then choose your end can and pipe design so you get exactly what you want for abnout 100 more than the regular system. I am 100% hpapy with my blueflame system
