HELP!!!

Looks damn near impossible to me!!

Am looking to attempt this job tomorrow on the car.

Has anyone removed them without taking off the plenum? I f so, how?

I have had a go at the front of the hose on the drivers side and it has disintegrated. the clip at the back seems to be a PITA and I can't get a spanner round the PCV valve.

Passenger side looks easier but not sure.

Anyone done it?

Andy

You need to make some space by removing some of (most of?!)the big turbo piping, and the battery. The drivers side is actually the hard side then as all the coolant pipes and brake lines are in the way. You will definately need the two new rubber tubes (you have to get the proper ones as they change in size so can't use any normal tubing). Those nissan clips are a bugger as well so you may as well buy some new replacement clips at the same time (ones with the screws in to tighten them). Chances are if you are removing things you will find many more perished rubber tubes! replace as many as you can is good advice! There's also a coolant feed pipe on the rear of the engine that goes to the turbo that often goes (can have bad results), but its very hard to get to without removing the engine.
