January 15, 200718 yr Are there any electrical connectors under the hood that I should not try to clean with contact cleaner? Or am I safe to 'ave a go with all of 'em? Cheers, Alf
January 16, 200718 yr AFAIK any 'leccy contacts can get cleaned with contact cleaner but dont hold me to that. lol BTW are they lexus wheels you got mate?
January 16, 200718 yr I'd say be very carefull while doing this, as most of them will be very brittle indeed, especially the Injector and Coil Pack ones. Oh, and watch out for flying spring clips!! :D

January 16, 200718 yr Author BTW are they lexus wheels you got mate? yeah of a lexus GS model. I like 'em nice and flat ;)
January 17, 200718 yr look good mate. GS sport if im not mistaken? wandered if the wheels off my lexus would go on my Z. guess thats the answear then.
January 17, 200718 yr Author If you want to find out more talk to ronflat as I got them off him. I think the body shop had to do a bit of adjusting because the centre of the wheel was too narrow.
January 17, 200718 yr Author Here's his actual words in explanation to me: "Not sure if I explained it properly, when the wheel is off there are 5 wheel studs, in the centre of the brake disc there is a round hub that sticks out a few mm, the centre of the wheel slides over this. But un this case will not quite go as the hole on the cente of the wheel needs to be 2mm bigger. Lexus hubs are slightly smaller."
January 18, 200718 yr sounds about right. its the same with vauxhall and renault wheels. aftermarkets usually go but origionals wont quite.
