yep it is. M6 all the way. Get on to M42 for one junction . Follow NEC signs off M42 up to the "NEC Island" Pub is off the next roundabout down the A45 to Coventry.

Guys, if you fancy a mini convoy down the A/M42 i live at ashby right by it.

 

There's a maccyd's at junction 13 on the A42, meet in the car park there at 10.45-11.00am and we'll set off from there.

 

If you're coming from leicester side, get off the m1 onto the A511 to coalville and ashby and follow it through to ashby and you'll come out on the a42 roundabout, the 3rd exit is maccy d's

 

If you derby and notts guys want to aim to meet us there or even phone us just before you reach us and we'll come join on.

But take care as the island is really under the A 45 so you go DOWN the slip road to get to it.

Likewise from coventry side. Take A 45 and exit DOWN the slip road to Stonebridge Island.

Entrance to the pub is off the Island.IIRC.

Bear in mind that stretch of road after the turn off to the m6 is mutilane speed camera ridden, very tightly monitored so anyone not in the convoy take it easy between the m6 and the a45

 

There's also cameras along the a45 into coventry
