Awesome bit of kit this, just finished fitting it in the dark and it's like driving a different car!

Lights are so much better, stereo is clearer and deeper, pickup is swifter and idle is smoother and quieter. I'll see about fuel economy later :D

All in all a wise investment!

Just got mine in the post

Just need to fit it now

Are you sure it's not a just placebo effect?

Maybe we could do a blind test and disconnect (or not!) the grounding kit and see if you can tell.

Not that I want to harm Shrimpy's business - if we could prove these kits really are that good, he could sell millions.

Lol - unfortunatley I have no interest in making what's under the bonnet look nice.

Respect to those who do, but it's not for me.

Do they really work then??? Why didn't Nissan fit this stuff as standard then??? Gotta be a good thing if they do what they say on the tin!!! I'm interested now!!!!

Original earthing was probably good enough. But 15 years on, corrosion and that could effect it.

One thing that was useful, I had to run the engine with battery out of the normal place (was broke down on side of road) and couldnt connect the negative. So used the earthing kit instead. Worked a treat. Woulda been fooked with out it.

Also, I found where someone had the engine out, they didnt connect one of the orig earths back. So the kit would have helped there.

Like said, they look good too.

I found after disconnecting the battery for an hour then reconnecting ther car ran brilliantly then steadily got more and more slow, lights got dimmer etc.

I suspected bad earths so hopefully this should improve matters.

The stereo honestly sounds completely different, no placebo effect, trebl is clearer, bass is deeper and kicks harder.

Just the underdrive pulley to order and i'll be sorted for performance now :D

Thank you shrimpy

p.s. it spools up like a complete bitch now, awesome stuff :D

Missed this post - thanks Bantam hehe  Glad it had the desired effect :)

The All Gold kits do look great, in fact I mess me pants every time I finish one :p

Sounds great, I think this fresh batch of encouraging reports could spark a pretty good response for another group buy on these.

How about it Pete?

Aye go on then :D - gimme a week or so to stock up on bits :) I'll put a thread in the GB section tomorrow.

Apologies as always to those who've just bought :wack::)

If its as good as bantambunny says, i'll take one. cheers

i'm sorry but i'm not having that. I can understand the car runnin better due to improved crounds and the ecu will probably seeing more acurate readings from sensors, and yes maybe even you stereo sounding better, but no way on the above.

If anyone can explain to me how a grounding kit (electrical) can cause a turbo (mechanical) to spool quicker ( turbo spool being an inherent characteristic of that turbo due to its mechanical make up and surrounding mechanical pipework) then i'll eat my pc.

Your car may accelerate a tiny bit quicker due to everything being a bit better electrically, but no way will your turbo spool at lowever revs, it will reach boost at the same rpm, you might just be getting there a little quicker.

Im down for this, get paid end of the month the its 2nd on my shopping list (1st is paying the membership fee finally!!!!)
